SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
JOB POSITION
Summary:
Design, develop, and test hardware for military, space, and industrial applications; assist in the development of mechanical interfaces to integrate Test Program Set (TPSs) software with multiple platform test systems; perform all phases of the system lifecycle, including requirements generation, design, implementation, testing, integration, installation, and documentation; interact with clients and make technical presentations; ability to work independently and to work with a team; good organizational skills and attention to detail; aptitude and desire to grow into project leadership roles; excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Education/Experience:
Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years experience with design of electro-mechanical systems, custom system enclosures, harsh environment system design, heat transfer/management, and system analysis. Requires a strong fundamental background in mechanical systems, interfaces, and systems modeling. Desired experience includes exposure to digital, and analog, design; simulation software such as MATLAB; AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis software, Dynamic Simulation Software, Thermal Analysis Software, exposure to both Windows and Linux environments a plus. Must have the ability to learn and adapt quickly and apply knowledge to a wide range of projects and applications.
