- Evaluate the business areas that need to be improved. X technologies
does this by interviewing key personnel to identify what information
is important, and its relevance to the overall organization. This
provides us the areas that need to be measured.
- Measure the key areas to the organization. The initial measurements
will provide us a baseline, while the follow-on measurements will
provide the degree of improvement for the organization in the various
areas being measured.
- Analyze the data. By analyzing the data, we can make recommendations
to the customer that will help his organization improve. This will
also tell us if we need to measure additional data points.
- Provides the feedback mechanism. We will automate the feedback
to the stakeholders and provide it in a graphical easy to understand
manner. Through this feedback, the various organizations and stakeholders
will be able to see how well they are doing relative to everyone else,
and also relative to how they have done in the past.
Only through this process of performance metrics can an organization
measure how well they are performing and where they stand relative to
the goals set for the organization.
